Commercial Real Estate

North Carolina Real Estate Attorneys

Real estate has become an increasingly complicated area of legal practice in North Carolina, and commercial real estate has become even more complex than residential real estate. Bradley N. Schulz is well prepared to help you.

Since 1985, Mr. Schulz has been involved in commercial real estate transactions, primarily in Johnston and other eastern North Carolina Counties, involving rezoning issues, design issues, road and utilities issues, etc. If you have a commercial real estate concern, please contact us to meet with Mr. Schulz.

Experienced Real Estate Lawyers

Mr. Schulz has represented commercial and residential real estate clients in the past. He has a strong background reviewing Offers to Purchase and Contracts, Purchase Agreements, titles, closing documents, surveys, and other complicated documents. He has extensive experience negotiating with lenders, engineers, and other individuals to effectively plan and structure a commercial real estate transaction. He also has the resources to refer individuals to other legal professionals with tax implication experience.

Litigation Experience

Mr. Schulz also has a strong background representing buyers, sellers, landlords, builders, contractors, and subcontractors and many different types of complex real estate disputes. When these disputes finds their ways into the courtrooms of eastern North Carolina, Mr. Schulz has been a successful advocate for many of his clients relating to claims of money owed, poor workmanship, work not being provided, etc.

If a legal claim in a commercial real estate situation finds itself into the courtrooms of North Carolina, Mr. Schulz prepares every case for trial by working with various professionals, including appraisers, contractors, engineers, and other experts to document as many pertinent facts as possible. This detailed approach has enabled him to successfully negotiate with the other parties to the lawsuit, and further allows him to be well prepared for a courtroom experience.

Many real estate and construction cases are required to be mediated prior to trial in the Superior Court Division of the counties of eastern North Carolina, and Mr. Schulz routinely uses power point presentations for the mediation, to give the mediator a visual experience of the claim. Many claims settle at mediation, but if not, this power point presentation will ultimately be used as a primary exhibit at the trial of the case.
